President's Message
Dear RAE Families,
In the spirit of November's purposeful people trait of 'gratitude,' we have so many ways to show appreciation this week:Β
I hope your students will take time to give a Thankful Pumpkin to a staff member at school (download a template below).Β
We're also co-hosting a canned food drive with our Sister School, Cimarron Elementary, to benefit Katy Christian Ministries.Β
Finally, we want to say thank you to all of the Veterans and their families in our StingRAE community. Thank you for your sacrifice and service.Β

Send a 'Thankful Pumpkin' this month
Take some time this month to send thankful notes to those you appreciate at RAE! Click the button below to download the file and print as many as you want. Write a note (or color/decorate) and have your student deliver them to the teacher, bus driver, custodian, or anyone they want to express gratitude to!
It is a RAE tradition to honor the sacrifice and service of our veterans and we will be hosting a reception and parade for them tomorrow morning!Β
RAE's Wall of Honor will be displayed in the main hallway for the month of November. Thank you to everyone who participated in putting this together.

THIS WEEK: Sister Schools Canned Food Drive & Playground Playdate
Let's help our Sister School Cimarron Elementary with their canned food drive to assist those in need this holiday season! We're going to make this fun with a little House competition: Bring a NON-PERISHABLE food item and drop it off in the clear bin in front of your House banner by the school entrance anytime this week.Β
You can also bring an item to our Sister Schools Playdate this Saturday,Nov. 16, 10 a.m. β noon at Cimarron. Our goal is to fill up a car with donations!
Starting this Month: Stickers for eating healthy
November is PTA Healthy Lifestyles Month! Our parent volunteers will be visiting lunch times once a month to hand out these super cute stickers to students eating their fruits and vegetables.Β
Encourage your StingRAE to pack their favorite fruits and vegetables, or maybe try something new!

Lead a small group of students in exciting science activities that help enhance their classroom learning. It's easy and super fun!
