I love this time of year, the excitement of Halloween, and all of the other seasonal festivities just around the corner (and maybe, just maybe, another blast of non-summer weather).

This week is one of our favorite hospitality events – our annual Souptakular! There's nothing better than smelling all of those homemade chilis and soups and seeing the smiles from the fed and happy staff. There are a few more open slots if you have a secret family recipe you're willing to share! See the sign-up below.

• Drop off nonperishable items during school hours starting tomorrow (Monday) until 9 a.m. Wednesday.
• Hot itemscan be brought in as early as 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday. 

Lead a small group of students in exciting science activities that help enhance their classroom learning. It's easy and super fun!

It is a tradition at RAE to honor the sacrifice and service of our military veterans. Please join us for a reception and parade and RSVP below.

Additionally, RAE's Wall of Honor will be displayed in the main hallway for the month of November. If you have a special someone (friend, family member, next-door neighbor) that has served or is currently serving, we would like to place his or her picture on our Wall of Honor. Complete the form that was sent home with your student or download it in the latest school RAE eNews email. The form due THIS WEDNESDAY, October 30th.

Thanks to all the families that participated in our MOD Pizza Spirit Day last Thursday. RAE PTA received 25% of sales and raised just over $358 – amazing!

Congrats RAE! We were recognized by Texas PTA for having at least 50 memberships in both categories. Let's keep it up!
