In addition, the PTA provides funding to each grade level, specialty, and the library for many items that are needed but cannot be included in the school's budget. Every year at RAE, the PTA’s goal is 100% membership, which requires one PTA member per student. With our enrollment next year at almost 1200 students, we need a lot of PTA memberships! If you have more than one student attending RAE in 2007-08, please keep in mind we are dependent on you to sign up one PTA member per student that you have at RAE. The $6 membership is merely a financial commitment to your child’s school, and not a mandate to volunteer. However, we welcome all parents, grandparents, etc. who sign up to give the gift of their time to RAE. In fact, studies have proven that membership in PTA provides your child and other children around you with a greater chance in achieving in school. As a PTA member, you are more likely to be informed, involved parent/caregiver. Join the Fun!
